Harman’s 40th Birthday

I know i know! It’s been far too long since my last post. I apologize. The past few weeks have been crazy busy both with photography and of course, much needed leisure time from work – India for a cousin’s wedding, then USA for my best friend’s wedding.

I received a call sometime in November to shoot a birthday party. The deal: 25 “loud” adults….at a posh French restaurant…”challenging”. Went there promptly at 7.30pm and little did I realize how dimly lit this place was. Seriously, I would’ve hyper-ventilated in the past but the trusty Nikon D3 proved to be most handy in this circumstance. All in all, it was a fun-filled night – you can tell from the pics that Harman and friends had a blast!

Prerna & Lawrence

Prens and Lawrence are getting married! Woohoo! For this photoshoot, we wanted to do something ultra casual to really showcase those two love birds as themselves. The only drawback was that we started off too late in the morning around 11am (coz some people wanted to sleep in! :P). That’s when the sun is high and too strong. Any photographer will tell you that the key to good outdoor shoots is good lighting…so waking up early to “catch the sun” is worth every bit the sacrifice. In any case, I’m really happy that they’ve found each other – truly an answer to a prayer! Congrats once again guys!

Shwu Wonderful Mitty! You have such a talent in capturing the spirit of the moment! The couple looks so good together…they almost look like they could be related! Truly well matched!

Dilshen’s 6th Birthday

Dilshen is one blessed kid I tell ya! Dressed in F1 gear, accompanied by a magic show, transformers cake, movie tickets for all the families – his parents went all out to prepare the ultimate birthday party. Those kids carried such joy, innocence, laughter, excitement…check out the pics and you’ll see it in their faces. Here’s to wonderful parents and to their wonderful son…Happy Birthday Dilshen!

A Quick Note & Brunch

I just wanted to take a quick second and write a short note  : it’s been a busy past few weeks and yes, I’m aware that I’m behind my blogging. I do have other shoots backed up in the queue to post but it might take some time. Things have been picking up. I’ve received a couple of offers for weddings/family shoots…fingers crossed, more will come by. Here are some (non-official) shots that I took 2  weeks ago during the long Diwali weekend.
