I’ve known them for a loooonnng time – over 15 yrs! Amazing how our friendship has just grown closer over the years.

They’ve been keen on doing a photoshoot for a while now and we’ve had various discussions over the past few months. Last month we finally set out to meet on an early Sunday morning at the Botanical Gardens. We walked around for a bit before finding our spot at the little white gazebo – such fond memories of playing there when I was a kid. Kabir was excited as always, running and jumping around (not bad for an early Sunday morning huh?!). Barely an hour into the photo-shoot, it started to rain!!! We took shelter at the gazebo which turned out to be ok – got some decent shots there too. Below is the end result – check it out and let me know what you think.

It’s been a year since I last saw them and man, has Shauna grown! She’s begun to talk a lot more…funny how kids make up their own lingo along the way. Everytime she sees a dog (real-life, cartoon, picture, etc), she says “Patupa”. Go figure!
