Woohoo! For this photoshoot, we wanted to do something ultra casual to really showcase those two love birds as themselves. The only drawback was that we started off too late in the morning around 11am (coz some people wanted to sleep in! :P ). That’s when the sun is high and too strong. Any photographer will tell you that the key to good outdoor shoots is good lighting…so waking up early to “catch the sun” is worth every bit the sacrifice. In any case, I’m really happy that they’ve found each other – truly an answer to a prayer! Congrats once again guys!

Dressed in F1 gear, accompanied by a magic show, transformers cake, movie tickets for all the families – his parents went all out to prepare the ultimate birthday party. I’ve known them for a loooonnng time – over 15 yrs! Amazing how our friendship has just grown closer over the years.

They’ve been keen on doing a photoshoot for a while now and we’ve had various discussions over the past few months. Last month we finally set out to meet on an early Sunday morning at the Botanical Gardens. We walked around for a bit before finding our spot at the little white gazebo – such fond memories of playing there when I was a kid. Kabir was excited as always, running and jumping around (not bad for an early Sunday morning huh?!). Barely an hour into the photo-shoot, it started to rain!!! We took shelter at the gazebo which turned out to be ok – got some decent shots there too. Below is the end result – check it out and let me know what you think.
